outlook sharing on home network

What is the best way, if possible, to share an Outlook Calendar on a home
network? If possible, can I also set up delegates for email? Or will this
only work on a LAN? Thanks!
 
Delegates for email require Exchange server, which is really not suited for
a home network, unless you are a true geek like me :)

Put your PST in a shared folder.

A home network _is_ a LAN.

You can have all of the computers on the network use one single PST file
located on ONE of the computers on the network. Of course, this means
that the "server" computer will need to be powered on for anyone to use

It doesnt actually work very well - i've tried that. Apart from
anything else only one PC can access the pst at a time so you end up
going back upstairs to shut down one copy of Outlook so that you can
open the one on the laptop

public outlook looks like it will do the job but it's the best part of
£100. Cheap for business, expensive for home users.

Is there a free solution with the same functionality?
