How can I check if an Outlook instance is running on a client PC. If it is,
I want to use it to send mail (not creating a new instance).

Thanks

Bill

You may send anyway and there is an instance running it will use that
otherwise it will create it
I don't think you can have more than one instance running

If by outlook session, you mean having outlook open more then once, then
yes, you can. I can launch outlook twice, and have 2 instances running at
once.

When you look in the Task manager while Outlook is open and while your
program is using it you will find it only once, anyway how can you have to
running instances of outlook?
