I use Outlook 2002 as my email program, and Salesforce.com as my contact
manager. Each time that I use the Salesforce.com address book, I get a
message asking if it is ok to allow a program to send an email, and that it
might be a virus. When I perform "end and add" to salesforce.com, I get the
same message.

Is there any way to have Salesforce.com "approved" to send emails so that I
can nix the security messages? Would this be in the Outlook security
settings? Thanks.

There is no method to disable the enhanced security of the product. Might
as the vendors of Salesforce if they have a version that is compatible with
Outlook 2002.
