Outlook Security Settings and Attachments

I just found out that Outlook blocks two levels of
attachments, and am assuming it is a virus security
block. However, from time to time I need to receive
several types of files listed in the level 1
documentation. Can anyone tell me how to manually alter
this when I know I have a file coming in that I need to
be able to receive?
