Hi all,

sorry if i am doing cross post as i feel this forum is more suitable.
In order to avoid secruity warning in Microsoft CRM 3.0, whenever i
send e-mail i get following prompt.

" an program is trying to access e-mail address stored in outlook
........

i was told to have template at secruity public folder. I have template
installed but i was wondering where should i change in setting on
template. I mean which radio button should be checked on outlook
secruity setting and programmatic setting tabs.

thanks a lot

Aami

Unless Microsoft CRM has provided instructions, all you can do is experiment. Start first by trying to trust the CRM add-in.

I have to add the crmaddin.dll at "trusted code" (Trusted addin
secruity page) of outlook secruity template?

PS" crm addin is the file which outlook use in Com addin".

Thanks Sue Mosher

Yes, that is the procedure that you use to "trust" a COM add-in in Outlook 2002/2003 so that its code does not trigger security prompts.

Of course, we don't know whether it's the add-in or the web page code for MS CRM that's triggering the prompts that you see.

I dont have rights to modify but i sent to our responsible team. I
assume when we add crm addin.dll we get the alert

" The object doest support this property or method
........item.getinspect.modifier..... isnt?

Thanks once again Sue.

Sorry, but did you have another question? I couldn't find one in your post.
