Outlook .pst over 2GIG in OL2000

I am trying to open 2 .pst folders which are both over 2
GIG in size . Our support company told me there was no
limitation on pst folders , well hello , the limit is
2GIG , but I desparately need the info for work . Can
anyone suggest anything , I have tried file splitting
programs , importing and tryinmg to view through Word ,
but no joy .

Please help , I am going nuts .
