For Hotmail:
- Define an HTTPmail account in Outlook. Outlook 2002 supports 1
Hotmail account per mail profile. If you have N Hotmail accounts, you
will need to define N mail profiles, then restart Outlook everytime you
want to switch to a different mail profile to use a different Hotmail
account. Yeah, right, real ease-of-use design in there, sure.
- Use Hotmail Popper. Runs as a local proxy. You configure a POP3
account in Outlook that connects to Hotmail Popper, which then connects
to Hotmail. You can also use Hotmail Popper to send outbound e-mails
through your Hotmail account although I prefer to still use my ISP's
SMTP server.
For Yahoo:
- Use YahooPOPs.
For Excite:
- You're screwed. Maybe IzyMail Online supports the proprietary webmail
interface used by Excite; if they do, you'll be paying for their
service.
