I have two sets of identical personal files for my mail and cannot delete either one of them. I have uninstalled MS Office 2003 removed the folder from the registry. Re-installed MS Office 2003 and if I do not have the outlook.pst file located where it is supposed to be Outlook will not open it just informs me that it cannot find my default mailbox files.
I have erased the outlook.pst file in hopes that MS Office 2003 would recreate it when I re-installed office. This does not occur. I have to move the outlook.pst file back into the correct folder and instantly I have two sets of identical personal files.
Is there a way to get rid of one set of these files? The duplication seems to cause extra copies of files to be sent when I send an outgoing mail message.
Thanks for your assistance.
