Outlook password help

I'm running Outlook 2000 on WinXP,and I can't get outlook
to remember my password. I enter the password and
click 'remember password', but the next time I open
Outlook I have to enter the password again? Help?

I am having a similar issue but I am running Outlook 2002

on XP. It used to work but about November 26th it started
prompting me for a password - wouldn't accept my password -
I changed my password - and it will not accept the new
password. The rest of my network works fine. I can get
to all of my resources,; servers, printers and such. I
can use terminal service into another server and launch
outlook and check my e-mail. but it will not run on my
desktop. There is much information about upgrading to SP1
and now SP2 in the MS knowledge base and I have done that
but still no luck. Anyone have any ideas?
