outlook page setup?

my e-mail recipients receive my e-mails in one long line rather than as a
page. what settings do i need to change in order to correct this?

Tools menu > Options > Mail Format tab > Internet format button >
"Automatically wrap text at ___ characters" (72 is normal).
 
many thanks but unfortunately i still have the same problem, the text is
still in 1 continuous line. any further suggestions would be appreciated.
 
What format is the message? Plain text? HTML? Rich text?

Check the formatting on the line(s) in question. It sounds like they're using the <blockquote> tag.
