I have a small office with two computers in different rooms. Both are
running XP Pro with Outlook 2003. The PC's are networked with a crossover
cable. I want both computers to be able to receive and send mail. I want the
mail to read on both computers. Right now only one PC is set up to receive
mail. The computers share an Internet connection. Is this possible?
Thanks for any help.

Configure the accounts to leave th emessage on the server for x number of
this. This will give you a timeframe to download the messages to both
machines.

Tips of the month:
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data
-Creating a Permanent New Mail Desktop Alert in Outlook 2003

Thanks. Will try this.

That won't allow both machines to see the same Sent Items folder however.
You can actually configure both instances of Outlook to read from the same
pst, although this is *NOT* supported by Microsoft, and you can't have both
instances of Outlook open at the same time. The dangers of the network going
down while one instance of Outlook is reading the pst file on a shared drive
(which is the main reason given for its not being supported) is, however
fairly minimal on such a small network.
