Outlook office10 won't send or receive

I installed office10 with Outlook about a week a go every time i try to send
or receive mail i get a massage THE OPERATION FAIL I have Removed and
reloaded both Office 10 and XP home and I stell can't receive e mail Please
someone Help
 
Reinstalling won't help with configuration issues. Locate your srs-file and
rename it to .old. After this start Outlook and try again.
