Outlook Not Shutting Down Correctly

Outlook is not shutting down correctly, and when I run Task Manager I am now
seeing multiple OUTLOOK.EXE processes running. This problem only started
today, after yesterday's batch of updates.
 
Does this happen if you open Outlook in Safe Mode? Close Outlook, click the
Windows Start button, click Run, then in the box type "outlook.exe /safe"
(without the quotes).
