Outlook not saving properly

Have options set to mail a message immediately and save a copy in "Sent
Items" folder. It did that until about 2 weeks ago. Everything is still
set in Tools -> Options as it was before. But now instead of sending the
email to whomever I want it to go and saving a copy in the Sent Items
folder, Outlook is sending the email to MY inbox instead of to intended
recipient, and saving nothing in Sent Items.

Haven't changed or added anything to system for about a month. What could
have gone wrong.
 
Oh yeah. I'm using Outlook 2000. Had freebie Outlook 2k2 beta from MS on
old system, but when system blew up I lost files and software. Don't
really need all the features of Outlook upgrade, just the basic email,
calendar, and tasks.
