I purchased a new hard and asked for my current hard drive to be left with
all the information in tact - thinking I could just re-install my software
and pull the old files in. What file has my current oulook info? The *.pst
files are date back in August. I used it last on 12/23/04 so I thought it
would have a more current date. Is that the correct extension or just the
backup extension?

It holds the keys to my life!

Corporate server or keep everything online... Sure you are looking at the
correct PST files?

C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsername\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook

If you use outlook 2003 you and download an add on for outlook that will let
you backup your outlook file in whatever folder you'd like to keep it. It
might be available for other outlook versions but I know about 2003 as I use
it.
