OUTLOOK MY DEFAULT EMAIL ACCOUNT

I use hotmail as my email account. Netscape is my ISP. I loaded Office 2000
and I want to use Outlook as my default email to send and receive emails. I
can't send or receive email why? And how do I know what my email account is
in Outlook? Please advise.

Is it a free Hotmail account or a paid one? Microsoft is disabling access
to free Hotmail accounts for any version of Outlook. Moreover, Outlook 2000
was never able to access Hotmail via WebDAV (HTTP). I don't know if Hotmail
Plus or Hotmail Premium allows POP access to your Hotmail account, but I
suspect not. An MSN account, however, would.
