Outlook messages won't leave Outbox

When I hit send all my emails get stuck in the outbox.
I've checked all my settings and they seem current to what my server wants,
SBC.
When I send using Thunderbird I don't have any problems, but I like Outlook
more so I'd like to continue using it.

XP Pro, Outlook 2003.

Or ask in a newsgroup for general questions. Notice that as this *is* such
