Outlook message alert

I do not get the envelope icon when a new e.mail message is received even
though the show envelop icon box is checked in the advanced e.mail options
window. Something else I should check. This just began (stopped) since I
installed IE7.

And the reason you installed IE7 is? Are you a BETA tester? If not, do
yourself a favor and don't install BETA software. Uninstall IE7 and see
if doesn't clear up the problem with Outlook.

IE7 related issues should be posted to the internet explorer newsgroup.
