Chris

I have installed and am running Office 2003Pro.

Our company uses Office XP and the support guys won't
support 2003 yet. I have successfully installed a
program called MeetingPlace which is used to schedule
conference calls to our conference server.

The application installs correctly, yet when I go to the
tab to setup a conference call I get the following error:

Microsoft Forms
To help prevent malicious code from running, one or more
objects in this form were not loaded. For more
information contact your administrator.

Considering that I am the admin for this system. What do
I need to fix / change to get this to work?

Chris

Chris,

You probably would want to talk with the MeetingPlace vendor (I believe it's
Latitude) to see if they have an update. In the absence of an update you
could add the following registry data to the machines (manually if they are
an administrator or via GPO).

KEY: HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Security

STRING VALUE: AllowActiveXOneOffForms
VALUE: 1

Hope this helps.

So I am an admin to my machine for various reasons...

Under the HKCU\software\Policies\Microsoft, office isn't
a selection. The only 2 selections are Conferencing and
SystemCertificates.

Do I add that key first and then add the 11.0 and then
add the security and then that key as described?

Chris

That's right Chris. If the full registry path does not exist then you need
to manually build the complete path.
