Hi Group
I subscibe to Outlook Live thinking that I would be a neat way to keep my
desktop and laptop folders syncronised. I downloaded but Outlook connector
as a part of my subscription but I cannot see a means to get the connector
onto my laptop. Do I have to pay for a further subcription?
Any pointers would be welcomed.

Log into your mool account from the laptop and it should offer a download
link.

Hi Diane
Thanks for the suggestion but I have looked everywhere and cannot find a
link. I would agree that it should be there but I don't believe that it is.
Am I missing something?

Hi Chris,

Log into http://membercenter.msn.com with your Outlook Live account. Click
on 'Download Software.' You can download the Outlook Connector onto your
laptop from there.

Hi Tara

Thanks for the link. I presume that it is new and not something that I had
previously overlooked.

FYI after installing the connector I was getting an error message on startup
stating that if problem persists then I would have to re-install outlook.
Sorry that I can't give you any further information, it was early this
morning and I wasn't thinking straight! I resolved the issue by deleting my
mail profile in control panel.

Regards

Chris

As an FYI - the error should be listed in the event viewer (control panel,
admin tools) - but a large percent of outlook problems are fixed by a new
profile, so you did good without the error. :)

Hi,

You can get to the MemberCenter from clicking "Get Started" in the Outlook
Connector menu. Maybe its not obvious? We would love to hear your
suggestions if you can think of something else that would be more obvious.

Also, the Member Center webpage should have popped up after you installed
Outlook Live.
