Outlook Live Holidays

My Outlook 2003 profile has an Exchange account as the primary account
and my Outlook Live hotmail account as a secondary account (i.e. one
profile and they both appear in the folder list). I'm trying to add
holidays to my Outlook Live account. I can't seem to get them to
display. If you try adding them within Outlook they just duplicate in
the Exchange calendar. If I try adding them in Hotmail via a web
browser the dates appear in Hotmail but don't occur in Outlook. I've
tested adding events to my Outlook Live account both in Outlook and in
Hotmail and they seem to sync fine.

How can I resolve this?

Thanks for any help you can give.

The hotmail ones should sync... unless hotmail doesn't actually add them to
your calendar (and uses a method like they use for shared appointments).

If you want the same as in the exchange calendar, use a group by view and
copy the holiday group, then paste in the msn one. You can only import into
the default store.

Alternately, you could create a msn only profile, import holidays and wait
for it to sync before going back to your normal profile.

Thanks Diane. Copying and pasting in Outlook seemed to work. Hotmail
seems to handle the holidays added in Outlook a bit differently to the
holidays it can provide. You seem to end up with duplicates of some
events where they run into the next day. It would be nice if this was
fixed but at least these events are now in the Calendars.
