outlook keeps deleting my emails

when I receive emails I try to look at them and it will not display them the
I lose them from my inbox. I can't find them ,they are not in the deleted
box. Has anyone any ideas where they could have gone?

It's unclear what you are trying to describe. Do the e-mails actually
show up in the messages list pane, or do you have e-mails that appear to
have been received but are not listed, or is it when you open a message
that it is blank, or is it after viewing them that they disappear from
the Inbox?

Check what view you are using or how you might have customized it.
Maybe you have it so only unread messages are shown.

Are you using Outlook in an enterrpise or as a standalone. If you are using
it in an enterprise check to see if this user is set on any other computer
because the mails might be sent to that computer and being moved to a
personal folder on that computer.

I am having a similar problem. My zone alarm detected a virus in an
attachment or an email and deleted all messages in the inbox. Now I can see
messages being redirected to outlook from my yahoo ac but when i open
outlook the inbox for today shows empty but is highlighted. i found some of
the emails coming in in unread mail folder which says they are in the inbox
but they dont show in the inbox. I can open and delete them from the unread
mail folder but not the inbox. I tried to move a message from another folder
to the inbox, but can only do it if the email was sent before today. Any
suggestions?

Disable the ability for Zone Alarm to do this. If your regular antivirus
application has real-time scanning then that is sufficient.
I'd start with a new profile and salvage what you can from the existing one.
