Outlook is not checking mail

I have Outlook set to check mail every 5 minutes for all accounts but it
does not check it. It works fine when I hit the send/receive button and at
startup but that's it. It used to work. I don't know what changed.

Please don't tell me to do something stupid like change it to 10 minutes or
to change my computer to point North.


Can anyone help?

Try deleting the file %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\yourprofile.srs,
restarting Outlook, and resetting your send/receives settings. If that
doesn't work, try creating a new mail profile.
