I'm using Outlook 2000 on Win XP Home. I imported my addresses from
the Address book. Then I fiddled with them. The changes I made were
also made to the Address book. I thought Outlook used its own system
for contacts/addresses.
I also fiddled with my email accounts. I deleted my hotmail accounts,
and one ISP account that I use only for personal purposes. Thinking
I'd stay with Outlook Express for those messages. Hmm. The changes
I made were also made to the Outlook Express accounts! Again, I
thought Outlook used its own system.
I do have backups of the information I have "lost," so that's no
problem.
My Question: Does Outlook share the same Internet Settings and
Address Book with Outlook Express? If so, can I made those two
programs use separate settings?
