Outlook is automatically removing attachments

I am unable to receive any attachments that are from Word
or Excel, it reads: "OE removed access to the following
unsafe attachments in your email" When I know they are
perfectly safe. I have sent some to myself from work and
they have been removed. Does anyone know is this just a
setting? I don't know how to fix it.

Your Subject is misleading. OE never removed the attachment. It
removed *access*.

It's a security option. Go look in OE's Options.

This newsgroup is for Outlook, *not* Outlook Express. Repost in a
newsgroup for Outlook Express.

A security setting needs to be changed in the Tools > Options > Security
