OUTLOOK 2003:

This is my second time.

I try to change the security option but I think it didnt worked.
My problem is that, my Great Outlook blocks the attachment file(exe, chm) and never give me any access to open them.
This is so stupid function I would say.

User should have right to open them, MS could just give us a warning to those file types but blocking user from opening them!
Those files are very important, and cannot be sent again! What shall I do?

I already read that there is no way to open the file. is this true?

Thanks,
JongWoo

You can do this by editing the registry. Blocking these type of files is a
good thing as people tend to discard security prompts and executing these
files without knowing what they are could seriously damage your computer. In
general most people only send documents (doc, xls, pdf, etc...) and pictures
and not scripts and executables.

Anyway for more information on how to unblock these filetypes;

Do you have a firewall ? or antivirus ?

if so it is not OUTLOOK, you must look in the directories
of the software to find the files saved or under safty
