First time I've tried this but here goes... I'm trying
use outlook as my email and have successfully been able
to see my hotmail emails in outlook. However, I'd like
to be able to "sweep" my hotmail account and put all the
emails onto my hard drive, so my hotmail stays empty. Is
there a way to set this up so it happens upon
send/receiver or every few days etc...? Thanks!!

what if you set it up as a POP account?

you'll need to move them yourself - outlook can't do it automatically.

Hotmail is http mail, not POP3.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the SWEN virus, all mail sent to my personal account will be deleted
without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, BC asked:
