Outlook has encountered a problem and must close

I am receiving this message while using my Outlook
2002. "Microsoft outlook has encountered a problem and
needs to be close." The only time this occurs is
occasionally when i have typed up an entire email and hit
the send button. 1 in 10 or so i will get this message
and outlook will for forced to close without sending the
email. I first thought this was occuring because it did
not have the up todate service packs, but i have since
installed them and still the problem is here. I also get
the follwoing" Error Signature AppNameutlook.exe,
AppVer: 10.0.4024.0"

do a Help / Detect and Repair (in the Outlook menu) using your orig CD and
this should repair the .exe problem.

i have also tried to uninstall outlook and reinstall it
but still shuts down ocasionally
