Outlook hangs on close

Each day when I shut down Outlook, I get a box showing it is closing, but
that box does not go away. I have to kill it in task manager.

What could cause this and how do I fix it?

I couldn't find anything relevant, that's why I asked the user groups -
maybe there is a better search expression I'm not thinking of?

Hints please...

Nothing under Add-In Manager or button COM Add-ins seems alien to Outlook.

Add-In Manager:
Delegate Access
Deleted Item recovery
Net folders
Exchange extensions commands
Exchange extensions property pages

COM Add-ins: none

Any other ideas?
