Outlook Freezes - Problem with last message received

My Outlook has encountered a problem with the last message
I received. It freezes on this message everytime I open
it and immediately stops responding. I have tried
scanpst.exe, but it can't open the file. Is there a way
to open Outlook in Safe mode, or another utility to allow
me to delete the message causing the problem? My PST file
is only 480 Mb so I don't think that's the problem. I am
using Outlook 2000/SP1 and Win2K Pro.

I appreciate any suggestions.

Hi Keith,
dont know if this solve your problem

start | run | outlook.exe /safe
so you can start outlook in safe mode
