Outlook freezes on openning e-mail

Using outlook 2002, every few e-mails outlook will freeze for around 30
seconds or more when trying to open an e-mail and sometimes during this
freezing period outlook may crash. Processor useage hits 100% No error
messages are displayed.

MS Office has all the latest updates, WinXP Pro has all the latest updates.
I have run scanpst and although it found what it called "minor discrepances"
it made no differents to the freezing.

Any suggestions

Try disabling IM integration at the bottom of Tools>Options>Other.
