Look at OE/Tools/Options/Maintenance tab, store folder. You
can move the location out of the default location or just
see the default. I have mine moved out of the default C: to
keep it in E:\my documents (I have also moved My Documents.

Marks,

Nice to see a fellow Malaysian here.

Please check:
Tools > Options > Maintainence > Store Folder.

There you will see the path on where OE stores your inbox.

Hope this helps.

Inside Outlook Express click on Tools on the file menu, then select the
Maintenance tab.
There is a button on that screen called Store Folder. You can move that
folder anywhere you want.

I like to have a NTFS encrypted directory off my root like C:\ENCRYPTED\.
From that folder I branch off into my documents and mail etc. I always move
my mail folder in there.(C:\ENCRYPTED\MAIL)

If you want another level of security, try clicking File then Identities and
then Manage Identities. Inside this dialog box you can click on Properties
and then check the Require a password check box.

That way if someone hijacks *.dbx files, OE will at least prompt them for a
password. It might not be the best protection, but its something and thats
more than nothing.

Have fun!

Got it with Thanks

Thanks. I've been absent from MS newsgroup for a year (last year, student
exchange to Japan, no PC access) and now I'm back here.

Glad to see you again in the NG too, Kelly! :-D
