An OE reply is being held in the outbox--it won't send and I cannot delete
it. I would like to get it out of there and off my computer. TIA for any
assistance

Assumption: You really mean Windows Mail on Vista and not Outlook Express.

Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista
