outlook express

Hi can anyone help me? I've got outlook express on windows xp. It was working
earlier and a message came up saying that windows could compact my emails to
make more space i pressed ok and now i can't get into outlook it just keeps
bringing up the error report and saying it's either to full, or not installed
properly. This isn't a new computer i've had it a few months now. Please help
as i need to get into my emails
 
You've stumbled into a Windows Vista newsgroup.
Outlook Express under Windows XP is covered elsewhere.

Just in case you don;t find the other group mentioned are you running
Norton or McAfee antivirus software? If so that is probably one cause of
your problem...

is a good place to start. If you can find the settings to disable ANY
antivirus scanning your emails try again before doing anything else and
then work through the website.
