Outlook Express

Outlook Express on my firehouse computer will not send mail using the
Group function. Mail can only be sent by individual, but not by Group.
I checked my home pc and it works fine with Groups.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to get Groups to work in OE?

I am back!

I have had to unmark/ delete groups and reboot, then start over.


If you want send messages to same group of people again and again the
following method is very useful :

Open address book
select New
select new group
Give a Group name
Click Select members and
select the name one by one
click OK after selecting the names

When you send a message type only the group name in the "TO" column and
the message will be sent to all the members
selected by you earlier.

before). I sent the message to the group, but no one received it.
Individual mail goes out but group addressed mail does not.

...not sure what the heck is going on here. On my other machine, OE
works fine with groups.

ArmyVet, I hate to sideswipe as we have to so often with Windows, I
prefer to attack problems head on.

Just perhaps, download a free email client and see if you have the same
problem with groups.

At least that would single out the OE or not problem. That will help
in pointing us in a diff.direction. :)
