Theresa, Microsoft already know about them. I assume they
are the ones advising you of updates for you operating
system. First Microsoft do not send emails informing
users of updates (other than in newsletters that you may
have subscribed to). Second, the attachment usually
contains a rather nasty virus, so on no account open it.
Thirdly, look carefully at the originator email address
you will see that it doesn't originate from microsoft. In
most cases it is a combination of numbers and letters.
And finally, simply delete the email.
