K Kelly Aug 21, 2003 #2 Hi Crystal, If you have not installed the Cumulative Update for OE: There are currently two workarounds and one option: Click on File/Identities/Manage Identities and remove the checkmark in "Use this identity when starting a program". You Cannot Switch Identities in Outlook Express After You Install Windows XP SP1 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;EN-US;q329084& Another option/workaround: Before changing identity, Press F1. The Outlook Express "Help" window will open (and leave it running in the background).
