Why is Outlook grouped under internet explorer 6?
That's just strange.
Outlook express is an email client, not a browser :P

Outlook isn't. Outlook is part of MS Office
Outlook EXPRESS is the successor to Mail and News which was an Internet
function, hence grouped under IE

Internet Explorer and Outlook Express are bundled together like a horse and
carriage.

They have many linked settings. Here are a few:

* File | Work Offline in one affects the other.

* Outlook Express uses Internet Explorer's print engine. To set the Page
Margins for Outlook Express ,you have to open Internet Explorer and set them
there. Any settings made in IE are applied to OE.

* Outlook Express finds its way here also. Internet Explorer | Tools |
Internet Options | Programs tab
