outlook express won't "find"

my "find" facility on outlook express is suddenly not working.... the box
comes up for the search parameters, but it does not show any result...

very inconvenient... can anybody help?

also for some reason my computer refuses to do a system restore... so i
can't try that.....

Have you tried asking this question in an Outlook Express
