I have both Outlook Express and Outlook Office. All of
my incoming e-mail can only be read in Express. I would
like to only use Office. How do I have the income mail
go to Office instead of Express?

Basically set up Office Outlook from scratch and it will ask you if you
would like to import your current e-mails etc. from express. Once ya
mailing account is in Office Outlook just remove ya account from
Outlook express or just delete it from ya pc. Outlook express is a cut
down version of Office Outlook as far as I can tell so you wont really
need it after you set up ya account on Outlook office. Hope it helps

1) Make sure Outlook is listed as your default mail program here: Control
Panel | Internet Options | Programs tab.

2) Remove all mail accounts from Outlook Express (unless you can't bear to
part with them for some reason).

3) Disable automatic checking for new mail in OE.

4) Only open OE if you're going to use it for newsreading (Outlook doesn't
have its own newsreader, it uses OE for that), and either open the
newsreader through Outlook (View | Go To | News) or open OE with the
/newsonly switch. This way, all mail functions in OE are disabled anyway,
so there's no chance of using them by mistake.

Do *not* remove Outlook Express from your machine. Outlook requires
some files from Outlook Express to run correctly.

Outlook Express is *not* "a cut down version of Office Outlook". They
are two totally different programs. Outlook is part of Office and is a
personal information manager that includes e-mail, calendar, contact
list, notes, tasks, etc. Outlook Express is part of Internet Explorer
& just does e-mail & newsreading.
