outlook express upgrade to outlook office pro

I have upgraded from OE to outlook all went very well
till it came to reseving mail , i have made outlook my
default mail and still get no mail,i have to go back to
outlook express to view my mail any suggestions on how
this can be fixed

OE , outlook is set as default and i still recive all my
mail in outlook express , do i need to delete express ,
also have changed the settings in default programs and
settings to other mail server ,and still mail goes to
express any other help tips
