Your problem is caused by a Windows Update.

If removing KB911567 resolved your problem, then once you have things back
in order, turn off your anti-virus and download KB911567 again, and after a
reboot, download this patch again, also with your A/V turned off. Reboot
once again. Sometimes, your anti-virus can prevent a clean install of
Windows updates.

This patch addresses some of the issues that were caused by KB911567.
Address Book problems.
Unsent templates appearing as sent.
Manually compacting will now reset the registry counter to Zero in WinXP/SP2
and also sends a copy of your dbx files to the recycle bin as a temporary
backup.
