Normally Outlook Express starts up immediately after I
first boot up my system. But if I wait a few hours and
try to enter Outlook Express, the blue screen
announcement for 6.0 comes up immediately but it takes
two minutes before Outlook Express actually appears.
I am running "Qurb" an anti spam program.
Anyone have any iteas as to whats happening?
When I reboot the system, the problem goes away.

Agree with the reply. Remove Qurb and try.

Spam checkers need to download "spam signature files"... sometimes
very big files. I would guess that Qurb is trying to do that. You
could also look at your network activity while the slowdown.
