Outlook Express slow receiving mail

At work I have XP, at home I have Windows ME. I am having problems both at work and at home with Outlook taking several hours to receive email. The most recent occurence was today when I received an email at 12:41pm that was sent at 12:46 pm yesterday. Has anyone else noticed this problem and how can I fix it?

I would say this has nothing to do with OE. It is set up to get mail,
if the ISP (Internet service provider) fails to deliver it on time, it
is not OE's fault.

I suggest you call your ISP.

I thought of my ISP, but I have a different ISP for home and work, is it possible that it is a problem within Hotmail?

Try to use a different account, like Yahoo, and compare the times.
