I have just this one problem. I've setup a rule to delete spam whenever a
certain word comes up but it doesn't seem to work on this one particular
spam mail I've been recieving. The email, in html format, usually has a
particular word like "CreditGift.com" or "DVDCreditGifts.com" etc, my spam
filter doesnt even filter it out. Any clues?

Thanks for the reply bruce. The word is inside the html part, the whole spam
is html. Any idea what I can do to filter this annoying spammer?

You can greatly simplify filtering IF HTML messages from unknown sources
are not important to you.

Create a whitelist of addresses that you want to receive, and filter to INBOX.

Create a whitelist of list servers that you want to receive, if any, and
do the same.

Create a filter, and put it last, that filters...

IF Content-Transfer-Encoding DOES NOT CONTAIN text/plain, then send to TRASH.

If this is not possible with your mail client, it IS with the Mozilla mail
utility built into the Mozilla 1.6 browser. In addition, for all but a
relatively few MS-centrically coded pages, Mozilla is a more advanced
browser than I.E., and will selectively block pop-ups, pop-unders,
Cookies, etc. It also offers tab browsing, and many customization
options. See http://mozilla.org and http://www.holgermetzger.de/etips6.html
