Outlook Express - Problems Switching Users

I have a Dell computer running on Windows XP. Everything has been working
fine until about a monty or so ago when we began having a problem switching
between the 2 Outlook Express email users set up on this computer. The two
users have always been set up on this computer but now, way too often when
you go to switch from one user to the other, nothing happens. You can
continue to surf the web but Outlook Express becomes paralyzed and you either
have to reboot the computer or log off and then log on again.

Any advice?

Our IP says it's not their problem although it's strange that this problem
started right when they changed their homepage and added all these "news
widgets" to the right side of their homepage (Roadrunner).

Any help would be most appreciated.
 
Go to Update.Microsoft.Com
Run the Custom scan for updates. Check the optional category.
I believe there is a Outlook Express update that isn't deemed to
be a Critical update that would get applied automatically.
