EI turned on my computer one day and Outlook Express shortcut was missing
from my desktop. I did a search and shows file Outlook Express but not .exe
file to open it. Where do I find it or download it?

Have you tried just making another shortcut?
It is normally C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe

If Alan's suggestion does not restore OE then you should
re-install Internet Explorer 6 (which you can download from
the Microsoft site). It includes OE.

Roberta

Have you looked in a Desktop folder "Unused Desktop Shortcuts"

Hope this helps.

[<waving> Hi, Alan]

Roberta,

1. Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Set Program Access and Defaults >
Mail: Is Outlook Express an option here?
Is it checked?

2a. Does this folder exist?...

C:\Program Files\Outlook Express

2b. Does it contain MSIMN.EXE?

3. Is MS Office also installed and did you recently install an update for it
(via Windows Update or Office Update)?
