Outlook express ignores pps file association to Powerpoint Viewer

I can't open pps email attachments even though I created an association for
pps files with the program, Microsoft Power Point Viewer, which I
downloaded. If I save the attachment, I can then open it w the viewer. When
I try to open it as an email attachment I get the message that there is no
program associated w it. Any idea what's wrong?
 
You should ask in an OL Express forum. This one is for Office's Outlook.
Meantime, check your Security settings for html in OE.
 
what security settings in OE? Also, Bucky did you ever solve your problem?
I am experiencing the same probem and finding it very frustating.
