Hello

I purchased a very expensive conputer from Dell wit
extended hardware support and no one will answer my
question. I have called Microsoft and they tell me to call
Dell... I give Up!!!!

I created identities and have lots of info on my e-mail. I
want to transfer all identities & info to an older computer
however i need to locate the location of the identity files
withing XP

I just want to know "where" in Win XP are the outlook
express identities kept? I did manage to locate what
appeared to be OE identitie files under C:/documents and
settings/all users/fas (my id) / application
data/identities/ however all the folders are completely empty!

Does anyone know where these files are or why mine are
completely empty?

Thanks
Fred

Tools>Options>Maintenance>Store folder will reveal the location of your
Outlook Express files.

In WindowsXP, the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as
hidden. To view these files in Explorer, you must enable Show Hidden Files
and Folders under Start>Control Panel>Folder Options>View

Thank You Bruce

I apprecaiate you input. I had attempted what you sai only
on the local folder lever. I then tried it with all folders
as you seuggest however the folders are still blank and
empty. Its like the Folder options had no effect.
