Outlook Express-Hotmail Problem

Recently Outlook Express (6.00.2800.1123) will not download new messages
from my Hotmail account. This occurs both for the auto download as well as
when manually selecting download messages. If I exit Outlook Express and
then re-open the program, the new messages are then downloaded. Any ideas?

Yes, OE has been configured to check for messages each minute and upon
start-up. This configuration has been in effect prior to the described
problem occurring.

have you checked your settings with outlook express properly ?
have you configured outlook to check for new messages when it starts?
 
Have had premium or "paid" Hotmail account since first offered. Problem
described is recent.
